Subway Sandwiches are mostly Ok

Posted in Fast Food, MSG Free Restaurants at 6:24 pm by msgsafe

Subway restaurants doesn’t list MSG on their allergen chart, but they do list sulfites (S) and hydrolyzed yeast/protein (HP).  So here’s the list of what NOT to eat at Subway:

  • Roast chicken breast (HP)
  • Seafood sensation sandwich (HP)
  • Sweet onion chicken teriyaki (HP)
  • Tuna – but only in Minnesota and Florida (HP)
  • Steak & Cheese (HP)
  • Honey oat bread (S)
  • Parmesan Oregano bread (HP)
  • Wheat bread (S)
  • wraps (S)
  • Chicken breast patty (HP)
  • Teriyaki glazed chicken strips (HP, S)

So overall, not a bad choice if you’re having lunch out.
